Bailey, my furever love

This is my fur baby, Bailey.  She is a Himalayan, which is part Siamese and part Persian.  Bailey has the coloring and look of Seal Point Siamese, along with the demanding voice.  Her personality is the easy going, sweet nature of the Persian.  Before coming to live with me she had been with a number of families. Although the veterinarian estimates she is about ten or eleven, Bailey is my baby.

Bailey has had on-going health issues.  Wednesday, July 25, 2019, my darling Bailey has gone to heaven.  We only had two and half years together.  I am in mourning for my love.

Oh, Anne, I'm so sorry about your loss of Bailey. It doesn't matter how long or short the time is that we have cats sharing their lives with us - the loss is always heavy on our hearts. Take it from a total cat lady - find another fur baby as soon as possible. Adopting from a shelter can be so rewarding. A new kitten will worm its way right into your heart and help soothe the loss. Nothing will replace Bailey but a new furbaby will ease some of the emptiness. :-D
